This sideboard was designed for a client to meet a specific need. This sideboard will sit underneath a wall mounted flat screen TV in an entertainment/ family room. The client has an affinity for the federal furniture period and this room has a Portsmouth NH Chest of similar styles and tones. This sideboard will enhance the room for sure.
The rough tiger maple and mahogany for this sideboard
Time tested mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery is used throughout this piece. Combining fine joinery with the knowledge and understanding of wood movement we can make furniture that will last for future generations and become a family heirloom
